How to Delete Your Account and Data

You have the right to request deletion of your PickemSquares account and all associated personal data. Follow the instructions below to delete your account.

Method 1: Delete in the App or on the Web (Recommended)

1. Log in to your PickemSquares account
2. Open Settings on the website, or the Profile tab in the iOS app
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
4. Click the "Delete account" button
5. Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears

Method 2: Contact Support

If you're unable to access your account or prefer assistance, you can request account deletion by contacting our support team:

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

• Your account credentials and sign-in links (email, password, Google/Apple/Facebook)
• Profile information (username, display name, email, phone number)
• Payment methods, notification settings and device push tokens
• Unpaid square reservations, which are released

Squares you already bought stay on their boards showing only your initials, so the other players and the host keep an accurate board and payout record.

Data We May Retain

For legal and regulatory compliance, we may retain certain information even after account deletion:

• Transaction records required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)
• Records necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms of service
• Anonymized data for analytics (with all personal identifiers removed)

Social Login Data

If you signed up using Google or Facebook:

• Deleting your PickemSquares account only removes data from our systems
• To revoke PickemSquares access to your Google/Facebook account:
  • Google: Visit Google Account Permissions
  • Facebook: Visit Facebook App Settings
