Terms of Service

1. What PickemSquares Is

PickemSquares is software that helps organizations run their own squares fundraisers. We provide the tools to create a board, track who has purchased which squares, randomize the numbers, and calculate results.

We are a software provider. We are not a party to any fundraiser run using the platform, we do not operate those fundraisers, and we do not hold, collect, or distribute the funds raised through them.

2. The Organizer Runs the Fundraiser

If you create a board, you are the organizer of that fundraiser and you are solely responsible for it. Specifically, you are responsible for:

• Collecting payments from participants using the payment method you select and display on your board
• Verifying and tracking those payments
• Distributing all winnings to the winners of your board
• Distributing the fundraiser proceeds to the cause you have identified
• Ensuring that running your fundraiser is lawful where you and your participants are located

PickemSquares does not verify payments on your behalf, does not pay winners, and does not receive or forward the proceeds of your fundraiser.

3. Fees

Creating a board requires a one-time board creation fee, shown to you before you confirm and payable by card. That fee is non-refundable once the board has been created. The fee is charged for use of the software only; PickemSquares takes no portion of the money raised by your fundraiser or of any winnings.

4. Participants and Purchases

If you purchase squares on someone else's board, your payment is made to the organizer of that board, not to PickemSquares. Any question about payment, a result, or a payout is between you and that organizer. We can show you what the board recorded, but we cannot issue refunds or winnings on an organizer's behalf.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PickemSquares to:

• Run a fundraiser that is unlawful where it is being run
• Misrepresent the cause a fundraiser benefits
• Collect money you do not intend to distribute as described
• Interfere with the platform, other organizers, or other participants

We may suspend or remove any account or board that we reasonably believe violates these terms.

6. Results and Scores

Game scores are obtained from third-party sources and may be delayed or incorrect. Board results are calculated from the scores recorded on the platform. Organizers are responsible for confirming final results before distributing winnings.

7. Availability and Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for losses arising from downtime, delayed or inaccurate scores, or any dispute between an organizer and a participant.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
